TERMS OF USE
Sweetwater Hydration (Doctrlos, PC)
Effective date: October 27, 2026
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of www.sweetwateriv.com (the “Site”) and to the appointments, memberships, and other services you book or buy through it. Medical services are provided by Doctrlos, PC, a California professional medical corporation doing business as Sweetwater Hydration (“Sweetwater,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) under Medical Board of California Fictitious Name Permit No. 562648, under the medical direction of Carlos Untal, MD, California Medical License No. A90379. Sweetwater Hydration Management, LLC provides non-clinical administrative, marketing, and technology support to the practice, including operating this Site; it does not practice medicine and does not provide medical services. By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The Site is general information, not medical advice
The information on the Site, including descriptions of IV drips, vitamins, and add-ons, is general information only. It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from your own physician. No result or benefit is promised, and individual results vary. Visiting the Site, booking an appointment, or sending us a message does not make you a patient or create a physician-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when a licensed clinician evaluates you and accepts you for treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
3. Who may book
You must be at least 18 years old to book or receive services. Services are provided only at locations within our service area, as shown on the Site, and only while you are physically in California. We may decline, limit, or stop any booking or treatment at any time for safety or clinical reasons.
4. Clinical evaluation comes first
Every treatment requires an evaluation and an order from a California-licensed prescriber. Before your first treatment you will complete a health intake form and consent forms, and a prescriber will evaluate you. Depending on your circumstances, that evaluation may take place in person at your visit or by video or phone (telehealth) before your visit; if it takes place by video or phone, you will be asked to consent to telehealth. Our nurse also assesses you at the start of each visit. If the prescriber or nurse determines that treatment is not appropriate for you that day, we will not provide it, we will refund any amount you prepaid for that treatment, and, if you are a member, your credit for that visit will not be used.
Prescription medications offered as add-ons, such as ondansetron (Zofran), ketorolac (Toradol), famotidine, and dexamethasone, cannot be purchased on their own. They are included only if a prescriber orders them for you after your evaluation, and they are not appropriate for everyone. You agree to answer our health questions completely and truthfully and to tell us about any change in your health, medications, allergies, or pregnancy status before each visit. Your safety depends on it.
5. Booking, rescheduling, and cancellation
Appointments are booked through the Site and confirmed by email. You agree to give us an accurate service address and contact information, to be available at the scheduled time, and to provide a clean, safe, and reasonably private space for treatment.
For everyone's safety, our staff may leave without providing treatment if the location is unsafe, if anyone present is threatening
or abusive, or if you appear to be impaired; in that case the visit is treated as a late cancellation.
To cancel or reschedule, email info@sweetwateriv.com or call (805) 315-4338 at least 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, no-shows, and visits we cannot complete for the reasons above may be charged a $50 late-cancellation fee. If you prepaid and cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, we will refund your payment in full. We may occasionally need to reschedule because of weather, emergencies, or staff availability; if we do, you may choose a new time or a full refund of anything you prepaid.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the Site and may change at any time, but the price shown when you book is the price you pay for that booking. Any travel, after-hours, or group fees are shown with our prices before you book. Payment is collected at booking or
at your visit, as shown at checkout, by card through our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number. Charges appear on your card statement as Doctrlos, PC or Sweetwater Hydration.
7. Sweet Society memberships and automatic renewal
(a) What a membership is. Sweet Society memberships are offered by Doctrlos, PC. Your monthly membership fee is charged
in advance and gives you the infusion credits and other benefits described on the membership page at the time you join. Each infusion remains subject to clinical evaluation under section 4, and membership does not guarantee that treatment will be provided at any visit.
(b) Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically each month. The monthly fee shown when you join is charged
to your card on file when you join and then on the same date each month until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no minimum purchase. After you join, we will email you a confirmation that includes these terms and instructions for cancelling.
(c) How to cancel. You may cancel at any time: online through your account on the Site, by emailing info@sweetwateriv.com from the email address on your account, or by calling (805) 315-4338. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not refund the fee for the current month.
(d) Credits. Credits do not expire while your membership is active. After your membership ends, you have 60 days to use any remaining credits, after which they expire. Credits are personal to you, may not be transferred or sold, and have no cash value except where the law requires otherwise.
(e) Changes to your membership. We will email you at least 7 days before any change to your membership fee takes effect,
with instructions for cancelling if you do not want to continue. We will also send you a reminder at least once a year of your membership terms and how to cancel.
(f) Promotions. Promotional items, discounts, and free gifts are subject to the terms stated with the offer, are limited to one per member, and are available while supplies last. We may change or end a promotion at any time, but we will honor any promotion you have already qualified for.
8. Your account and how we communicate
If you create an account on the Site, keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account. We will communicate with you by email and phone about your appointments and account. If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may also send appointment reminders and service updates by text message. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Please do not send health information through the Site's general contact form or through social media; use the secure intake forms we provide, or call us.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to make false or fraudulent bookings, to impersonate anyone, to collect information about other users, to scrape or copy the Site, to upload malicious code, to interfere with the Site's operation or security, or for any purpose that is unlawful or that these Terms prohibit.
10. Intellectual property

11. Third-party services and links
The Site is built on and hosted by Wix, and bookings, member accounts, and payments are handled by Wix and our payment processor. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. The Site may link to other websites, including social media.
We do not control and are not responsible for those websites or their privacy practices.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we disclaim all warranties about the Site to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, and our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site will not exceed the amount you paid through the Site in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under California law, and nothing in these Terms limits our professional responsibility for the medical care we provide, which is governed by your consent forms and California law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by California law. If you have a concern, please contact us first at info@sweetwateriv.com or
(805) 315-4338 so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site that we cannot resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Site after that date means you accept them. Changes to membership fees or material membership terms will be handled as described in section 7.
